President: Stelios Potamitis
Stelios Potamitis has graduated from Barry University, Florida (USA) with a Sports Management degree. He then received his master’s degree in Sports Law and Sports Management (The FIFA Master).
Stelios has worked for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers FC in the USA and then moved to Europe to work for UEFA. He is now working for the Cyprus Football Association.
Andreas Vasiliou – Vice-President
Andreas Vasileiou holds a degree in Health, Leisure and Sports from the University of West Florida USA, as well as an MSc in Human Performance and Sports Studies / Sports Administration from the University of Tennessee USA. He was a founding member of KEDA; he served as the sports manager of the sports center of the Bank of Cyprus. He also served as chairman of the Cyprus Karate Federation and a member of the Executive Board of the Cyprus Olympic Committee. He is the president of the Small States of Europe Karate Federation and Secretary General of the Mediterranean karate federations union. He is the manager of the V.A.Sports Services & Consulting Company and he is a lecturer of sports management at the University of Nicosia.
Secretary General: Dr. Antonis Alexopoulos
Dr. Antonis Alexopoulos is a Physical Education and Sport Sciences graduate from Semmelweis University (TF), Budapest (2002) and has a PhD in Sport Sociology (2007). He also has a PGDip in Sport Management from Cruyff Institute, Barcelona (2016). Upon returning to Cyprus in 2007, he has worked in several positions within the Fitness and Sport Industry, while teaching in the Physical Education and Sport Sciences and Sport Management Programs of the University of Nicosia and the European University Cyprus.
Secretary Special: Evripedes Manoullos
Euripides Manoullos holds a degree in Sports Management and is a member of KEDA since 2009. He served as the General Manager of Apollon FC in Limassol and from 2015 he runs his own Sports Management and Event planning Company.
Treasury Officer: George Yiapanas
George Yiapanas is the Finance Manager of GSP Stadium in Nicosia, also holding the position of the deputy safety officer as from 2013. He holds a degree in Accounting from BPP University (UK) and an MA degree in Management from the University of Wolverhampton (UK). Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate in Sports Management at University of Nicosia. He served as Chairman of the Cyprus Squash Association from 2010 to 2015. He is a certified safety officer and a qualified stewarding trainer by UEFA. He is currently appointed by Global College to teach Management and Sports Grounds Safety Management, by the University of Wolverhampton to teach Management to MA students and by the University of Nicosia to teach Sports Management.
